A national road and natural walking paths are developed along the stream, making it easy for anyone to enjoy a leisurely walk.
During the fresh green season (late spring to early summer), you can experience a "green tunnel" of lush foliage, while autumn offers vibrant red and orange leaves.
Major sightseeing spots include: Shisho Dai-taki Falls, Kumoibiki Falls, Asura-no-Nagare (Asura's Flow), and Ishikado.
Early morning walks offer a fantastical view where sunlight filters through the trees, piercing through the morning mist.

Access
By Bus: From Aomori Station or Hachinohe Station, take JR Bus to "Yakeyama" or "Towadako Kyoya."
By Car: Approximately 1.5 hours from Shin-Aomori Station, or about 45 minutes from Shichinohe-Towada Station.
Bicycle Rental: Available at the Oirase Keiryu Kan (at Yakeyama).
The Oirase Keiryu features terrain formed by volcanic activity and river erosion, with rich natural forests preserved in a near-primitive state. It is ideal for forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) and trekking.
